Victoria bed and breakfasts - an inclusive full breakfast is served at Gazebo B&B near the Butchart Gardens on southern Vancouver Island, BC, Canada.

The candle-lit meal is indeed elegant, served in the morning room (so-called because it fills with the morning sun). The multi-course breakfast is served at 8.30 or 9.00am on fine china, silverware and glasses with linen napkins. Alternatives are offered so you can select from these:

A full breakfast

The full breakfast starts with orange juice and a fresh fruit plate including local berries there's then an appetizer, often dairy and fruit. The main breakfast dish is a savoury delight, varying daily. We do cater for diets, apart from vegan. Fresh baking, coffee and teas naturally accompany your meal. You may not need lunch!

A continental breakfast

Served between 8.00 and 10.00am a continental breakfast is welcome if you want a lighter meal an earlier start or just a little more rest. Here you enjoy orange juice, artisan breads and croissants with preserves (home-made naturally), fruit yogurt, a fruit plate and coffee or teas.

A packed breakfast

A packed breakfast is welcome if you have an early ferry, flight or plan to drive further up Vancouver Island. The previous evening we'll supply to your room breakfast goodies you can enjoy early in your room or on the road. It will include such items as pastries, bagels with cream cheese, fresh fruit, yogurt and orange juice (coffee and tea-making facilities are always in your room).

We recently saw a hotel, not a special one, whose breakfast menu totalled $60 for two people for those items we include free in our full breakfast.
