Arriving guests frequently say something like "What a lovely spot!". It certainly is, not only beautiful but superbly located for a visit to Victoria, the Butchart Gardens and southern Vancouver Island.

We are a short drive from all Victoria attractions like the Royal BC Museum, Craigdarroch Castle and whale watching. Wineries and restaurants are nearby.

The Saanich Peninsula is less than 20 miles long north/south and just a few miles wide east/west. The city of Victoria is in the south, the airport and BC Ferries terminal in the north. The Butchart Gardens and Gazebo Bed and Breakfast are central. Thus all ferry terminals and Victoria International Airport are within a 20 minute drive of the B&B.

Expressed another way, we are outside the built-up urban area and not close to the airport or main highway so are in a lovely peaceful setting. However all Victoria BC attractions are easily accessed as is the highway up Vancouver Island.
